I saw Jacqui interviewed on Ageist Magazine. She is from New York City. I’m in Southern California.
I thought to myself, “How was this going to work?” “Would she work with me?”
So, I took a risk and reached out. I made an appointment with her, and Jacqui spent a generous amount of time with me on Zoom, going through almost every item in my closet. She helped me work through my creative blocks around my clothes, outfit combinations, and correct fit. I had been hanging on to clothes (from an era and self-identity standpoint), but I no longer was.
She is honest in her viewpoint and straightforward in a caring, kind, lighthearted way. She has a beautiful personality and a sense of humor, and she’s encouraging and creative. The minute you meet her, she feels like your instant girlfriend. It was a safe, emotional feeling I got with her. Instantly, I knew I could work with her.
Jacqui suggested how to “polish up,” color combine, and make outfits look interesting. She made the clothes in my closet have a new life. Jacqui even went through my shoes, jackets, and wraps that I owned, which I didn’t know how to combine anymore. She
taught me how to look at things with a new eye.
Because of Jacqui’s knowledge, I am now aware of the skill of taking more risks with colors and patterns. Jacqui awakened parts of me that had been dormant. She reminded me that clothes can be fun again. She reminded me that “clothes need to be taken out”! And that “we create events to take the clothes to.” Jacqui helped me live in my world more confidently. It feels good to live in the world this way. It’s not time for me to be invisible yet. Nor is it time to be lazy. She taught me that dressing well and caring about myself matter. And I now use it to my advantage and enjoy it. Hire Jacqui; she will be the breath of fresh, creative, colorful air you need.
